Using the ProTrack: Developer's perspective

The Following features describes the options for a Developer

View / Update Issue

The first step for a developer after login is to view update issues which he has recieved.

  • View/Update Issues

    you can view/add or update issues to the project by navigating to the Issue List page. You navigate to the Issue List page by clicking the Issues tab. Click the Create

    View and Select the columns

    New Issue button to add a new issue.

     

  • Queries

    The Queries tab enables you to perform queries against the database of issues. For example, you can create a query which enables you to generate a report of all priority 1 issues which must be completed by the first milestone. To create a new query, click the Create New Query tab. Use the dropdown lists to create the query by selecting different query criteria. After you create a query, you can save it by entering a name for the query and clicking Save Query.

  • Logs

    Logs are developers daily and weekly log to help him to keep track of all his work since the beginning of the project

  • Mobile Option :coming soon

    The ProTrack will also supports mobile devices such as cell phones and PDAs in the coming future. For example, if you navigate to the ProTrackOnline.com when using a cell phone, you will be automatically redirected to the Mobile ProTrack. The Mobile ProTrack supports a subset of the features of the Web ProTrack. You will be able to use the Mobile ProTrack to view existing issues. However, you cannot use the Mobile ProTrack to create new projects, issues, or users.
